Description :

TECHNOBIT PRIMER WB TS3 is a brushable, water-based sulphate resistant bitumen coating. It is formed by the anionic emulsification of pliable bitumen and is both stable and easy to apply. It adheres to all types of surfaces and can also be diluted to become a penetrating priming coat for use on porous surfaces.

Uses :

• General purpose damp proof coating for concrete.
• Waterproofing and protective coating for basements, foundations and retaining walls.
• A maintenance coating for roofs and walls over concrete or metal surfaces.
• Bonding and priming coat for a variety of bitumen-based waterproofing systems, whether liquid, felts or membranes.

Method of Application :

The surface to be treated must be free from dirt, debris and scale and should be thoroughly
saturated with water.
Application of TECHNOBIT PRIMER WB TS3 can be done with a brush, roller or be sprayed or squeegee on horizontal surfaces.
Thoroughly stir before application.
As a priming coat TECHNOBIT PRIMER WB TS3 can be diluted up to 1:1 in fresh clear water.
Allow 2 to 4 hours for drying before applying the membrane.
As a liquid system the first coat to be applied as a priming coat.
Allow 2 to 4 hours for drying, then apply a second coat on the prepared surface. If the surface
is to be topped with concrete, it is recommended that it should be lightly sprinkled with sand
as soon as it is laid, which will act as a protective layer. Excess sand should be brushed off
prior to laying the screed.

Health & Safety : 

As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contactwith foodstuffs, skin, eyes and mouth. If accidentally ingested, immediately seek prompt medical attention. Do not induce vomiting and give copious amounts of water to drink.
Keep away from children and animals. Reseal containers after use. Always wear protective clothing and eye protection.

Packing :

TECHNOBIT PRIMER WB TS3 is packaged in ( 10Kg, 20Kg ) Plastic pails, (20 Kg) Metal pails and ( 180Kg, 200Kg ) drums.

Storage :

• Varies with product and climatic conditions but is usually in excess of 12 months.
• Keep out of direct sunlight.
