Description :

TECHNOBIT PRIMER D-41 is a bituminous liquid that seals porous surfaces, such as Concrete and when
used improves the adhesion of Bituminous materials that are to be applied to the substrate.
We recommend use of TECHNOBIT PRIMER D-41 in all applications of TECHNOBIT range of torch applied and self adhesive membranes.

Method of Application :

• TECHNOBIT PRIMER D-41 should be thoroughly stirred before use and applied to the substrate by means of brush, roller or spray, at the rate of 300g/m brush/roller application and 200g/m spray application.
• The area to be treated should be free from grease, oil, dust etc. Concrete should be cured and at least eight days old. Alter drying any localized discolouration of the surface should be re-treated and allowed to cure. Only prime areas that are to be covered in one day.
• Do not leave the Primer exposed for more than 24h. If this should be the case, apply a further coat and allow to cure as above. Tools must be cleaned with White Spirit or Paraffin.

Health & Safety : 

As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contactwith foodstuffs, skin, eyes and mouth. If accidentally ingested, immediately seek prompt medical attention. Do not induce vomiting and give copious amounts of water to drink.
Keep away from children and animals. Reseal containers after use. Always wear protective clothing and eye protection.

Packing :

TECHNOBIT PRIMER D-41 is packaged in ( 15L, 18L ) pails and ( 200L ) drums.

Storage :

• Varies with product and climatic conditions but is usually in excess of 12 months.
• Keep out of direct sunlight.
